The journey from beginner to pro
I got into trading back in 2011 — starting with the grain market. It felt more straightforward for a beginner: predictable demand, seasonality, and “tangible” drivers like weather and agricultural reports. Every successful contract moved me forward, and every mistake came with a lesson I had to pay for with real experience.
By 2017, I had enough hands-on practice to step up to a new level and join the hedge fund Two Sigma Investments. That’s where I went deeper into working with data and saw just how far you can take market analysis and price forecasting using statistical signals.
Over time, I started to notice how strict rules and corporate frameworks can hold you back. Tight risk policies and “system rules” sometimes forced me to skip ideas I truly believed were strong. I wanted more freedom in decision-making — to trade based on experience, not only a checklist.
So in 2023, I decided to leave and build my own community — the trades-trend.com portal. It’s a place for people who share my approach: less noise, more meaning, with a focus on analytics and discipline.
Within the project, I share my experience for free and publish up-to-date market insights — useful both for those who’ve been in the market for years and for those who are just starting out.
I chose Binarium as my main platform for binary options because it’s reliable, easy to use, and offers fair payouts.
